I grew up in Hangzhou, China and came to Germany to study product design in search of creative expression. Through both academic and practical experiences I kept exploring multiple aspects of design and gradually found my path as a designer, design researcher and intercultural communicator.

I am highly sensitive to the emotional impact of forms and visions, while being strongly aware of the social influence of design and production. I enjoy approaching a problem with open-mindedness. Instead of focusing merely on the final result, it's equally important for me to make the process of working itself enriching and meaningful.
